Tree felling is the process of cutting down or removing trees. This could be required for a variety of reasons, including tree death or disease, or because a tree poses a danger to the environment around it.

Sectional Felling is the process of removing sectional parts of a tree – usually the branches. This is required when it is difficult to fell the entire tree, due to proximity to buildings or electrical lines.

Pollarding is a pruning method in which the upper branches of a tree are removed to encourage a new, healthy growth of foliage and branches. Once finished, the tree begins regenerating multiple shoots that continue growing for years to come.

It is important not to allow growth to become too unmanageable or heavy for the trunk, so it is advisable that this process be carried out on a consistent basis (species dependent 3-8years).
